Carmen Isaac, a Washington D.C. /Maryland native, is a dedicated educator whose main passion in life is enriching the lives of children through literature and writing. With a Master’s in Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education, Carmen’s decade-plus teaching career includes being a classroom instructor for grades 1 to 8, a middle school Academic Dean, and serving as Director of Humanities for a charter school network in New York City. Currently she is the Senior Product Manager for ALEE, a position that allows her to use her passion, knowledge, and research to create a product that enables teachers to help students access literacy in meaningful and engaging ways.
